Preview of the shoot I did with Mitch and Genia yesterday at JAFAX! It was sooo hot outside, so wearing this costume was kind of insane, but it was totally worth it! We went down into a foresty ravine and shot in this really awesome marsh. I mean, it was awesome excited for the fist-sized wolf spider we saw. That wasn't so awesome and I ran away screaming, I would've fallen in a river filled with frogs if Mitch hadn't caught me!

More info on the costume is here: [link]

Amazing work! How did you attach your shoulder piece? Does it just slip over your head, or does it close in the back? (I'm making an armor piece similar to this, for a male friend, and I'm baffled on how to close it up smoothly.)

It just slips on over my head, correct! Then it secures to the outfit with velcro. :D

I styled the wig myself, using a Jeannie from Arda Wigs as the base! :)

You have such great motion in this shot. Your swinging braid is so neat to look at, and really feels as though you're right in the middle of fighting someone. Plus, your eye contact with the camera is intense and focused. It's such a dynamic shot, and perfect for Ty Lee! Great work!

I really like the material you used for his shirt. It really suits the character.

Gosh, your cosplay is absolutely gorgeous. ;o;

I'm not often a big fan of costume alterations but yours are so in-keeping with the character design that it works perfectly. ♥ Kudos to the photographer too, its a lovely shot!

Ahh, thank you, that means a lot! My main reason for doing alterations to the design is because I'd already made her "regular" outfit before, and the idea of just remaking the same design was not appealing at all. xD So doing a more realistic interpretation made it much more fun!
