Wind Waker: Take to the Skies by MangoSirene Wind Waker: Take to the Skies by MangoSirene
Link really isn't too sure about this whole flying thing...

The wings were made by adapting =Sunnybrook1's Realistic Wing Tutorial: [link] I ended up making quite a few changes to it, but that's what inspired the basic idea! Definitely check it out if you want to get a general understanding of how my wings were made.

I was also honored to have Rin join me as Link! She was absolutely perfect and I had so much fun getting to cosplay her! (The first of many more in the future!!)

These costumes have been featured in a few Katsucon cosplay videos!

Oh wow you look really incredible!! Do you mind my asking how you attached your arm covers to the rest of your wings...? Are they sewn closed, or are there gaps for the feathers to move?

The fur covers attach to individual feathers using Velcro! :D

What substances did you use to make the shoes and beak?

The beak is a custom latex cast. The boots are stilettos with the heels removed and covered with vinyl. :)
